Tempting Morsels

An evening of bite-size theatre and fabulous finger food.

Tempting Morsels is a culinary theatrical musical feast directed and performed by Jillian O’Dowd, Sarah Butler and Selena Hanet-Hutchins, with special guest appearances from a bevy of local talent, including Karen Harrison and Robert Farnham, with Oliver Robjohns on piano.

Inspired by consummate a book of poems and recipes, by Mary-Jane Craig (“Food as I think it life as I eat it”), Tempting Morsels is an evening of bite-size entertainment and fabulous finger food gathered around the theme of temptation.

The cabaret style show will be a relaxed menu of ‘short cuts’ from plays, peppered with music and courses of canapés, culinary delights and drinks served to the audience throughout the evening.

The menu has been designed by Martine Folden to reflect the words and sentiments of the theatre pieces and poems. Costumes have been designed by Jillian Naidu.

There will be two performances at Upper River Hall – on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, both starting at 6pm.

Ticket price includes food and drinks. Bookings are essential.

The show is rated M – with mature themes and some course language.
