The Oily Rags: Pop-up Art Show

Meet the 2024 Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship artists.

On Sunday afternoon 15th June, four young emerging artists, all recipients of the 2024 Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship, will be showing their work and speaking about their art and life as award winning young artists, and you are invited to be there.

Solomon Karmel-Shann; Elle Wickens; Thomas Carmen and Scout Milsome spent two weeks in the valley at the end of last year in residence at Shark Island Kangaroo Valley as part of that award. Now they are back  to share their work and stories with the community.

Come and enjoy a cup of something warm in the cosy Upper River Hall, nourished by the surrounding beauty and an intimate afternoon with paintings and artists. Maybe even buy a piece of art. Please let us know if you are coming by RSVP.
